Western Sound Studios

Anywhere a cable can be run, given the proper
time of day, one can record almost anywhere in the Dalton Center on WMU campus.

Aside from the main studio room and foyer,
it would be possible to record anywhere in or around the Dalton Center Recital Hall, with it's various ante-rooms, loading areas, foyers, staircases, etc.

WSS is now running Pro Tools HD,
alongside the venerable RADAR, MCI 1/2",
and a Teac 1/8" Quartertrack.

I've been a live sound engineer for about 6 years.  I started out running open mic at the Space, where I gained some skill. Then I began working for the Kraftbrau brewery in 2003.  I started into the recording classes at WMU in 2005, and am now the Office Manager of Western Sound Studios.

My previous experiences were with
4-track machines and live recordings,
until I invested in my home studio.

Between all of these endeavours, my knowledge has expanded positively.
Most people who really want to work in audio know that this knowledge is epistemic...

not sure where i'm going with that...
